David Needham said the female victim – who was heading to work – was walking through a parking lot at the rear of 25 Mabelle Ave., near Islington Ave. and Bloor St. W., on Sept. 9. Crime Stoppers re-enactment He said the woman then headed down a "well-traveled stairwell" to catch a bus when she was accosted by a man at about 4:50 a.m. "It was a surprise attack," Needham told a press conference at police headquarters. "The suspect jumped out, grabbed her and sexually assaulted her in the stairwell," he said. The suspect is described as being white, 25 to 30 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, with a medium build and short dark wavy hair. The attacker was wearing a black ski mask, a hooded sweater and black pants. Needham is asking anyone who saw anyone matching the suspect description in the area on Sept. 9 to call him at 416-808-7442.
