Jesus Christ, my computer broke down last night so this morning I took it in (just so I didn't miss any of the Homolka discussions) (because I'm obsessed) and I have been listening and watching the news I even put Newsnet on the display TVs at futureShop while I waited for my computer and there was NO NEWS and now I'm back online and still NO NEWS and I don't know whats going on I thought the hearing was today but you would think there would be something and not even a blurb online. WTF.

maybe they forgot???! There was another really high profile case in Montreal that was getting alot of news coverage. A mother murdered her infant and mother and attemted to murder her three year old daughter too. I'll look for it, it WAS pretty interesting, not to mention tragic. Apparently the deaths were deemed a tragic accident and a year later she was charged with murder.....anyways, I'll go look for news on it...

hat sounds really interesting. i'll never understand how a mother can kill her own child.

I'm happy that the families won't waste their energy in trying to stop this movie from being seen. It is within our rights to see what we choose to see at the theaters or on video.
I'm wondering why we haven't heard a thing about court though that was supposed to be yesterday. did the media forget about this court date or what?

I thought Karla was going to court on Sept 22. Today is October 14, and I have not read one single word in the papers about the outcome. Are the media banned from saying anything about her?? Seems to me like the criminals are being mollycoddled and the public are left up in the air. They should be monitoring her but not protecting her to such an extent.

The Spet date was postponed to Oct.12th but I don't have anything futher. With your statement about criminals, I don't know about all of them but they sure seem to be treating this one that way. I think the media is getting sick of the story.

the media should realize that the public wants to know her every move and outcome on court dates and hearings. we still haven't heard a thing about the breach charges if there are any or not.
