it most certainly does! you read that and think OMG!! why are they letting this terrorist and killer out on our streets???
if the person's had no history of using weapons, then they shouldn't be on the probation order. IMO.

The way they look at it is that if they committed a violent act once they may progress to bigger more violent means. The conditions don't hurt anyone and they give the auhorities a little control if they see this person with these items. It's kid of like nipping it in the bud. It can give a false impression of the person.

i guess you have a good point there too. i guess it's a good idea but at the same time, it does make the criminal look worse then he might be. i'd rather they do it as they do it now i guess. better to be safe then sorry later.

Weapons of all descriptions are fast becoming fair game here in Alberta. The younger people are into knives in a big scale, and hardly anyone who lives in my area of town, walks around without something, anymore.
Myself, I carry pepperspray, a squealer, and anything sharp in my pocket for easy use, against being a target or another victim. THX

You got it! I never in my life thought I would have to watch my back, as I do now. Makes me want to go back to the Yukon, peace, beauty wilderness....
Am living in the target zone of an sk now here in Edmonton, and it's no picnic... THX
