www.solgen.gov.ab.ca/downloads/documentloader.aspx?id=46254September 22, 2005 Dangerous dame Cunning criminal and dangerous dame Tamara (Tammy) Lynn Papin is heading our way, posing a significant risk to the public, says the RCMP. She yesterday completed an 11-year sentence for robbery, assault with a weapon and several counts each of aggravated assault, assaulting a peace officer, assault with intent and assault with a weapon. Several of these offences happened in Edmonton, and she intends to live in the Stony Plain area, Mounties said. "Information contained in her file indicates that (she) represents a significant risk for violence against adult males and females," read an RCMP release. Papin must abide by several conditions for a year. She can't imbibe alcohol or any non-prescription drugs. She's to stay away from bars and liquor stores. And she's not to possess knives outside her home. Papin is also forbidden from possessing firearms, ammunition or explosives

what i don't get here is if you need to put all those things in conditions, then why let them out into society??? no ammunitions, explosives, knives or firearms but it's okay for these sick people to be set free?? it's rediculous!!

Those three conditions are pretty standard condition when the charge is anything violent.A simple assult charge ended up myself with those three conditions. They're as common as keep the peace and be of good behavior.

ok so then it doesn't mean that the person has used those weapons in the past then? That's what i thought that meant. i guess they're covering every angle.

No in fact sometimes when the has nothing to do with weapons they put these conditions opn and when the case has a weapon involved they don't. It's all up to the crown. makes the person seem worse though doesn't it. The fear factor
